Goodreads is a free site that has information on thousands of books, authors, and much, much more! Set up an account to track the books you've read, what you'd like to read, and get suggestions based on your reading history. This site also features what's new to the book world as well as hundreds of recommendation lists.
This site may not look fancy, but it is a great place to find a new author to read. Start by typing in the name of an author you enjoy and let the literature map show you other authors with similar styles.
